- Fmr. Head of L&D and Founder at Copilot Strategy | Adil is the founder of Copilot Strategy — a learning strategy and organizational development consulting firm. He is on a mission to help leaders optimize their learning & development departments by streamlining systems, processes, and workflows required to run an effective L&D function.
Adil Ibrahim
Adil has spent his career advancing and leading the enterprise learning agenda in a variety of industries ranging from Advertising to IT Consulting to Insurance. He is currently a consultant at Meta leading the redesign and implementation of a digital onboarding strategy for the Reality Labs division. As Head of Learning & Development at Ipreo, Adil restructured the department to cultivate peer-learning across the company — when acquired by IHS Markit, he reimagined and launched the North America L&D strategy including developing a brand identity and a decentralized learning organization. At Ogilvy, Adil partnered directly with the CEO to help develop and launch Ogilvy University. When at Cognizant Technology Solutions, he overhauled the learning management system, for North America, impacting and improving the experience for over 20,000 employees.
He is a regular volunteer in the industry — a former Board Member of ATD NYC, currently serving as a Coach for L&D leaders through Torch-Everwise. He has also served as a speaker and guest lecturer at Columbia University and New York University. - Fmr. VP Education/CLO at Almost Family | Bill Ryan has over 30 years of working with organizations to engage, develop, and retain their workforce using learning strategically. His unique skillset includes academic, private industry, and government experience as VP of Education/CLO, VP of Technology/CIO, and National Leader of Curriculum & Technology Solutions. Dr. Ryan has a demonstrated record of corporate and industrial management experience beginning as an instructional designer to leading performance support and instructional design teams globally developing a vision for learning and leadership development tied to business goals and increasing talent capabilities. Bill’s consulting work includes developing comprehensive talent staffing and development plans, blended online leadership programs, workforce development blending business and academic partners, and a SOAP (Strategy on a Page) for a national L&D team.

Bob has been an active and influential leader in the learning and training industry for over 35 years and is renowned worldwide for his pioneering role in new approaches to learning. APPLY Synergies has helped companies such as the DoD, US Office of Inspector Generals, St. Vincent Healthcare, Bank of America, Disney, Bayer Crop Science, Herman Miller, and many others on their transformational journey in adopting the 5 Moments of Need approach. Bob has acted as an influential voice in the Learning and Development industry by speaking at conferences and by being an active participant and author within industry associations such as ISPI, ATD, the Masie Consortium, e-Learning Guild, and CLO Symposium/Magazine. Bob is a co-author of the book: “Innovative Performance Support: Strategies and Practices for Learning in the Workflow” and the recipient of 2-lifetime achievement awards in the Learning & Development field.

He is currently the Vice President of Learning, Leadership, and Cultural Experiences at Starbucks. Prior to joining Starbucks, Brandon was the Vice President of Learning and Leadership at Walmart, where he led the Global Leadership Development practice, the Executive Coaching strategy, and the Corporate and Officer Onboarding experiences for the enterprise.
In his past, Brandon led the Learning and Development team for Delta Air Lines’ global airport operations. He has held global learning leadership roles with Home Depot, Microsoft, Apple, and Sun Microsystems.
In 2020, he founded L&D Cares (www.ldcares.org), a nonprofit dedicated to providing coaching, mentoring, and support to help talent professionals thrive and flourish in their career.
Brandon serves in an advisory capacity for several EdTech startups and has served as a committee organizer for ATD. He has authored two books, Learning in the Age of Immediacy and the award-winning L&D's Playbook for the Digital Age, both published by ATD Press.

In her 20+ years of executive experience at Air New Zealand, Dell Technologies, Booz Allen Hamilton, and the US Air Force, she has led broad transformation, optimization, and sustainability initiatives across industry sectors ranging from consulting, computing, aerospace to emerging markets. She is currently serving as Chief Learning Officer at Cityblock Health – a high-growth Google venture. In 2020, Sydney was awarded Chief Learning Officer of the Year by Human Capital Media in recognition of her individual achievement across the industry worldwide. Under her leadership stewarding learning transformation, Air New Zealand received the prestigious LearningElite Silver award- a first in the history of New Zealand.
